Special Olympics for differently abled children by JCI Vizag

Visakhapatnam : JCI Vizag  conducted a press meet for  Sports competitions for special children in the age group 8 years and above from the districts of Visakhapatnam,Viziayanagaram and Srikakulam.

Special Olympics was started in the year 2000. The main agenda of these Olympics is to conduct games  for all 4 categories of differently abled children – Visually impaired  , intellectually impaired and Orthopedically impaired, hearing impaired . Participation is free to all .

It’s a Full day event on 17th December ,2017 from 9 AM to 5 PM (morning to evening ) at police barracks ground , visakhaptnam . 16th edition of S o by JCI vizag have been organizing since 2000 . More than 550 differently abled children from three districts will be participating .

Over 35 organizations from three districts are participating to make this event success . Event inauguration will be at 9 AM valedictory at 4 pm.Event will start with Band salute by Navy school children Visakhapatnam.

Highlights of the Event:

  • 86 sport events will be organizing  through out the day .
  • Breakfast,lunch,evening snacks and refreshments will be provided to all participants,escorts ,stuff , volunteers.
  • Cultural performances by children during lunch and valedictory .
  • Medals and certificates will be given  to winners and all participants respectively.
